Last night was the first night of three concerts here in Sandpoint for the Lost in the 50's festival. Last night we saw Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and the obligatory Elvis! Ray Charles OK, Jerry Lee Lewis unbelievably amazing, Chuck Berry OK, Elvis, while number one impersonator in the world, just pretty good. Jerry Lee Lewis brought down the house. His piano skills were simply out of this world! I'd pay to see him at his place in Chicago!
Today we played golf at the only course up here that's open, Priest Lake. Opening day for this place was actually today! The course, while looking like an ordinary course, actually had some amazing hole layouts on the back nine. Didn't play well, but enjoyed the day playing with Joe Blanc. Even got a few free tips out of him. Like you could actually stop him from giving them to you! he hee Loved it Joe! Thanks!!!!
Tonight, Rocky has the first of his two concerts. There is a car parade in town, then tomorrow, the roads are shut down and all the cars are parked along the roads. Should be crazy fun, especially if you like old classic cars from the 50's!!!
Later,
