That was the last hike in Idaho, at least for this trip.  We drove out to hit a few falls and gorges today.  Shoshone Falls, Niagara Falls (Idaho's), Malad Gorge and a few other spots.  The hike up from SHoshone Falls to see Evil Kinevil's launch pad for his attempted jump over the Snake River Gorge.  Was a two mile hike up, seemingly at times straight up.  Never the less, it was good exercise and the views of Shoshone Falls were amazing!

For lunch we ate at the Snake River Grill in Hagerman.  Had stuffed mushrooms, with local italian sausage and a batch of catfish, sturgeon and calamari chunks.  Yep, deep fried to perfection!  So much for our diet.  But you know, you need to eat some local delicacies while venturing around the country!  Ended the meal with butterscotch cheesecake for Linda and apple dumpling for me!  Whoo Hoo!!!!!

We have put away our hiking clothes until we hit Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Golfing tomorrow, a gorge course, on the high side, overlooking Snake River Canyon!  Then tuesday, I see a long morning bike ride in our future, with an afternoon of relaxing at the RV site, laundry, and getting ready to move the big red bus on Wednesday morning.

Idaho is a state we will return to on another West Coast trip.

Slideshow is our golf outing at Canyon Springs in the canyon itself.
